Sponsor a child and make a difference in a life

We invite you to partner with us in caring for one of our dear children. Our child sponsorship program is a wonderful way of reaching out to a child in need and showing him or her your love. You can become a sponsor for as little as $25 dollars a month. Your donation of $25, $50, $75, or $100 dollars will provide food, clothing, shelter, education, and medical care for one of these children, and your prayers and letters will uplift and encourage that child. You can even visit your sponsored child!

If you are interested in sponsoring a child please send your contact information (name, email, and name of child you would like to sponsor) to the Children's Home email address:                             rdp-ac@hotmail.com.  The Online Giving button above is provided for quick and secure giving.

If you are not interested in being a monthly child sponsor, you still have the opportunity to give towards the care of these precious children. You can choose to give to our Children´s Home fund with a one-time gift of any amount.Children needing sponsors

SAMIR PADILLA HERNANDEZ Nine year old Samir was brought to us in February of 2014 from a town about an hour away from San Marcos. He comes from a very poor and abusive family and was brought to the Children´s Home for his own protection. From the moment he walked through the gate he made himself at home and began soaking in the love he felt around him. Because of his difficult past he will have much to learn, many habits to let go of, and many hurts to heal, but we know that God is faithful and will do a great work in him. He is currently in 4th grade of elementary school.

SILVIA RAMIREZ AHUMADA 10 year old Silvia is Karina's sister.  She is a go-get-em, always busy type of girl who loves to be in charge and loves having so many other kids to play with.  She had been placed in another Children`s Home without her sisters for various years before her mom moved her to our Home, and once she was reunited with her sisters in our Home she has grown and blossomed in both her character and in her academic ability.  She is in 5th grade in the elementary school and although she struggles with reading and with math skills, she has a great attitude about school and learning new things and we are sure in due time she will catch up to her peers.

PAMELA RAMIREZ AHUMADA Pamela is Karina and Silvia's youngest sister and is now a fun-loving happy little girl.  She is 8 and attends the Special Education school.  Pamela was very malnourished and scared when she arrived in the Home in 2014 and seldom smiled.  Over the years we have seen a beautiful transformation in her, both physically and mentally as she has soaked up love and good food.  She has some learning disabilities, and will probably need special academic help for various years, but what she lacks academically she certainly makes up for socially.  She loves getting attention and especially loves being hugged.
