Face of my Father Children's Home

Rostro Del Padre AC

Face of My Father Children´s Home in San Marcos, Jalisco, Mexico is a refuge for orphaned, abandoned, and abused children, offering them a new beginning and a safe, loving home environment where they can grow and thrive . The home received its first child in May of 2009 and from that date to 2020 has cared for 19 different children. It has room for up to 10 children at a time, 5 girls and 5 boys. It is a Mexican non-profit Civil Association and is sustained purely by donations and child sponsors.

Interested in coming and helping out in San Marcos?  Here are the ways you can do just that:

1. Ministry teams.  We accept teams of up to 8 people from any Christian denomination.  Ministry teams join in with various activities, including construction work, playing with the children in the Home, ministering to people in the town, hosting Bible Clubs for children, etc.  What your team does depends on the needs at hand, the abilities and ages of team members, and the time of year (dry season or rainy season), but we can put together a plan for your team that will impact both San Marcos and your team in wonderful ways.  Contact us at rdp-ac@hotmail.com for more details.

2. Individuals.  Maybe you just want to come by yourself and use your gifts and talents to minister and help.  Are you a great cook?  Come for a week and be chef for the Home!  Do you love caring for children?  Come be hands and feet in the daily looking-after of the kids!  Are you skilled at construction work, carpentry work, gardening, in the medical field?  There is always something to do.  Individuals can come from one week to various months at a time.  Get in touch with us for more details at rdp-ac@hotmail.com.

3. Internship.  Some Bible Colleges and Universities require internships in other countries to complete a course.  Face of My Father is a legally constituted Mexican Civil Association and can fulfill the requirements that most colleges look for to approve your choice of internship.  We can receive female interns, 18 years of age or older, for one week to various months at a time.  Check your school´s requirements and contact us at rdp-ac@hotmail.com for more information!

4. Families.  Your family will have an unforgettable experience ministering in small-town Mexico.  We can cater your visit to your individual needs so that the whole family can be involved.  Our guest house is on the top floor of the church and can accommodate up to 8 people at a time.  Send us a note at rdp-ac@hotmail.com to let us know about your interest.
